Hello Bello cancels auction, seeks approval of sale to stalking horse

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Dec. 4 – Hello Bello canceled an auction for its assets that was set for Monday and named the stalking horse bidder the winning bidder for its assets, according to a notice filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

As previously reported, Hello Bello has reached an agreement in principle to be acquired by Hildred Capital Management, a health care-focused private equity firm.

The stalking horse transaction, which provides for a transaction value of about $64.9 million, was subject to higher or otherwise better offers through the bid procedures.

A sale hearing will take place on Dec. 11.

Pacific Palisades, Calif.-based Hello Bello filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Oct. 23 under case number 23-11759.
