S&P revises Mersin International Port view to negative

S&P said it revised its outlook on Mersin International Port (Mersin Uluslararasi Liman Isletmeciligi AS (MIP)) to negative from stable and affirmed the long-term issuer credit rating on MIP and issue rating on its debt at B.

The negative outlook mirrors that on Turkey.

On March 31, S&P revised the outlook on Turkey to negative from stable and affirmed the unsolicited B/B long- and short-term sovereign credit ratings. The unsolicited transfer and convertibility assessment on the sovereign remains B, S&P said in a news release.
