Free Speech Systems to mediate with PQPR, Sandy Hook families

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 13 – Free Speech Systems LLC and sole member Alex Jones are ordered to mediate with subchapter V trustee Melissa Haselden, PQPR Holdings Ltd., LLC, and Sandy Hook families, according to an order filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Haselden had sought the mediation in order to discuss a consensual bankruptcy plan.

Judge Marvin Isgur was appointed as mediator.

The scope, location, time and procedures for the mediation will be determined by Isgur following consultation with the parties.

PQPR asserts a claim secured by substantially all assets of the debtor.

Austin, Tex.-based Free Speech Systems, fully owned by Alex Jones, filed bankruptcy on July 29 under Chapter 11 case number 22-60043.
