New Issue: HSBC sells $7.93 million Strategic Accelerated Redemption Securities on Equal Weight ETF
Chicago, July 21 – HSBC Bank plc priced $7.93 million of 0% autocallable Strategic Accelerated Redemption Securities due July 27, 2029 linked to the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be automatically called if the ETF closes above its initial level on any annual call date. The redemption payment will be par plus a premium of 7.8% per year.
The notes will be called at maturity if the ETF return is positive. Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.
