Principal's High Yield Fund gets Principal Global as subadviser

San Diego, April 9 - Principal Funds made changes to the class A, B, C and P shares prospectus of its High Yield Fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fund is now subadvised by Principal Global Investors, LLC. Previously, the subadviser for that fund was Edge Asset Management, Inc.

Des Moines-based Principal Management Corp. is the fund's investment adviser.
