Guggenheim's Series 855 registers units, consists of five portfolios

San Diego, Nov. 29 - Guggenheim Defined Portfolios, Series 855 has registered units of its five portfolios, according to an S-6 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Lisle, Ill.-based Guggenheim Funds Distributors, Inc.

The portfolios are the Guggenheim Global Expansion and Dividend Portfolio, Series 4, the Guggenheim Global Infrastructure and Dividend Portfolio, Series 4, the Guggenheim Inflation Defense and Dividend Portfolio, Series 6, the Guggenheim U.S. High Dividend Strategy Portfolio, Series 3, and the Guggenheim U.S. SMID High Dividend Strategy Portfolio, Series 3.

The Global Expansion and Dividend Portfolio seeks to provide total return through capital appreciation with a secondary objective of providing dividend income by investing in a portfolio of 50 geographically diverse firms that may benefit from broad global economic expansion.

The Global Infrastructure and Dividend Portfolio seeks to provide total return through capital appreciation and has a secondary objective of providing dividend income. The trust aims to invest in a portfolio of 50 geographically diverse companies that meet major infrastructure needs in the electric, water, telecommunications, gas distribution, railroads and construction industries.

The Inflation Defense and Dividend Portfolio seeks current income and total return through capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio of securities of 50 global firms that may benefit from strong or rising commodity prices.

The U.S. High Dividend Strategy Portfolio and the U.S. SMID High Dividend Strategy Portfolio both seek to provide dividend income by investing in companies that distribute significant dividends on a consistent basis.

The $10 units will carry an initial sales fee of 2.95%, including an initial sales fee of 1%, a deferred sales fee of 1.45% and a creation and development fee of 0.5%. Sales charge reductions of up to 1.5% of the public offering price will be available depending on the amount of the investment.

The trusts will terminate in about 15 months.
