Guggenheim Defined Portfolios, Series 833 registers units

San Diego, Nov. 8 - Guggenheim Defined Portfolios, Series 833, which consists of three portfolios, has registered units in an S-6 amendment filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Lisle, Ill.-based Guggenheim Funds Distributors, Inc.

The Diversified Income Wave Portfolio, Series 25 seeks current income and potential for capital appreciation by investing in common shares of closed-end investment companies. On the Nov. 8 inception date, $150,533 of sponsor's contracts to purchase underlying securities comprised the trust. The 15,053 units had an offering price of $10 and a net asset value of $9.525. The units carry a maximum sales fee of 4.45%, consisting of a 3.95% deferred sales fee and a 0.5% creation and development fee.

The Equity and Income Portfolio of CEFs, Series 31 seeks total return that is comprised of current income and capital appreciation and contains common shares of closed-end investment companies that invest primarily in equity securities and/or income-producing securities. On the Nov. 8 inception date, $150,558 of sponsor's contracts to purchase underlying securities comprised the trust. The 15,208 units had an offering price of $10 and a net asset value of $9.525. The units carry a maximum sales fee of 3.95%, consisting of a 1% initial sales fee, a 2.45% deferred sales fee and a 0.5% creation and development fee.

The New York Municipal Portfolio of CEFs, Series 15 seeks current income and the potential for capital appreciation and contains common shares of closed-end investment companies, the majority of which contain portfolios that are concentrated in tax-free New York municipal bonds that are rated investment-grade. On the Nov. 8 inception date, $150,886 of sponsor's contracts to purchase underlying securities comprised the trust. The 15,241 units had an offering price of $10 and a net asset value of $9.525. The units carry a maximum sales fee of 3.95%, consisting of a 1% initial sales fee, a 2.45% deferred sales fee and a 0.5% creation and development fee.

Sales charge reductions of up to 1.5% of the offering price may be available for any of the portfolios, depending on the amount of investment.

The trusts are scheduled to terminate on Nov. 13, 2013.
