Gamco sells shares of Griffin Land & Nurseries

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 24 - Griffin Land & Nurseries, Inc. investors led by Gamco Investors, Inc. sold 68,629 shares of the company's stock between Aug. 8 and Sept. 21 priced between $32.54 and $37.00 each.

The transactions were reported in a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reporting persons own 1,433,639 shares, or 27.84%, of the New York-based landscape nursery operators.
