Goldman Sachs talks benchmark three-part offering of senior notes; pricing Monday

New York, Feb. 22 – Goldman Sachs Group Inc. is planning a benchmark three-part offering of senior notes to price on Monday, according to a market source.

The offering includes a tranche of five-year notes talked in the Treasuries plus 180 basis points to 185 bps range and a five-year floater talked at the Libor equivalent to the fixed-rate tranche.

A 10-year tranche of notes is talked in the 220 bps area over Treasuries.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the bookrunner.

The financial services company is based in New York City.
