Valic Co. I's Global Social Awareness Fund drops Samanov

San Diego, March 30 - Valic Co. I announced in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Mikhail Samanov is no longer a co-portfolio manager of the Global Social Awareness Fund.

Samanov was part of the portfolio management team under subadviser PineBridge Investments, LLC.

Houston-based Valic, or the Variable Annuity Life Insurance Co., is the investment adviser.
