Gander Mountain seeks exclusivity extension to review plan information

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, June 23 – Gander Mountain Co. requested an extension of its exclusive periods for filing and soliciting votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota.

The company asked the court to extend its exclusive filing period through Oct. 31 from July 8 and the solicitation period through Dec. 31 from Sept. 6.

“More time is needed for the development and analysis of the information necessary to prepare a disclosure statement and propose a plan,” Gander Mountain said in the motion.

A hearing is scheduled for July 5.

Gander is a St. Paul-based retail network of stores for hunting, fishing, boating, camping, marine and outdoor lifestyle products and services. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 10 under Chapter 11 case number 17-30673.
