Yamana Gold amends facility to up size to $1 billion, extend maturity

New York, April 4 - Yamana Gold Inc. amended and restated its credit agreement with the Bank of Nova Scotia as administrative agent, lifting the size to $1 billion from $750 million, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The maturity date was extended to March 31, 2019.

In addition, the accordion feature can bring the total capacity to $1.25 billion.

The Royal Bank Of Scotland plc, Canada Branch is the syndication agent with RBS Securities Inc. as joint lead arranger and bookrunner.

Yamana is a Toronto-based precious metals mining company.
