New Issue: Barclays sells $8.00 million contingent yield trigger autocallables on EAFE, Nasdaq

By Marisa Wong

Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 28 – Barclays Bank plc priced $8,004,100 of trigger autocallable contingent yield notes due Feb. 28, 2029 linked to the MSCI EAFE index and the Nasdaq-100 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 7.05% if each index closes at or above its coupon barrier, 70% of its initial level, on the related quarterly observation date.

The notes will be called at par plus the coupon if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly observation date after one year.

If each index finishes at or above its 50% downside threshold level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the contingent coupon, if any. If either index finishes below the downside threshold, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline of the worst performing index from its initial level.

UBS Financial Services Inc. and Barclays are the agents.
