New Issue: RBC sells $735,000 leveraged buffered notes linked to MSCI EAFE

Olympia, Wash., May 24 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $735,000 of 0% leveraged buffered notes due Sept. 23, 2019 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,150 for each $1,000 principal amount of notes.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1.1111% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
