Morgan Stanley plans leveraged buffered notes linked to MSCI EAFE

Morgantown, W.Va., Dec. 29 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% leveraged buffered notes with a term of 22 to 25 months linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,241.35 to $1,283.80 per $1,000 principal amount.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 15% and will lose 1.1765 % for each 1% decline beyond 15%.

The Cusip number is 61768CDG9.
