New Issue: TD Bank sells $1.35 million capped index-linked notes tied to MSCI EAFE

Chicago, March 28– Toronto-Dominion Bank priced $1.35 million of 0% capped index-linked notes due May 11, 2023 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return, capped at $1,180 per $1,000 of notes.

If the index return is zero or negative but not below negative 20%, the payout will be par plus the index return, up to a loss of 5%.

If the index falls by more than 20%, the payout will be 95% of par minus 1.1875% for each 1% loss of the index beyond 20%.
