New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $5.49 million Buffered PLUS linked to S&P 500

Madison, Wis., Jan. 2 - Morgan Stanley priced $5.49 million of 0% Buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due June 30, 2016 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus double any index gain, subject to a maximum return of 18.5%.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the underwriter.
