Morgan Joseph hires Lowenberg as managing director, private placements

Milwaukee, April 12 - Morgan Joseph & Co. Inc. announced it hired Jonathan M. Lowenberg as a managing director and head of private placements.

Lowenberg was most recently managing director-head of private placements at Merriman Curhan Ford. Prior to that, he held similar positions with Kaufman Bros. and Natixis Bleichroeder Inc.

Lowenberg also worked at Think Equity Partners, where he headed the alternative capital group, at UBS, where he was executive director of its global private placement group, and at Victory Ventures LLC.

Lowenberg holds an MBA from New York University and a BBA from Emory University.

Morgan Joseph is a New York-based investment bank.
