Fitch assigns Mongolia bond a B

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Mongolia’s proposed dollar-denominated bonds a B rating.

The rating is consistent with Mongolia’s long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating of B.

Proceeds will be used to refinance bonds maturing in 2021 and 2022 through a cash tender.

The outlook is stable.
