Mizuho Financial conducts sale of fixed-, floating-rate notes

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 7 – Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. plans to sell a two-part offering of floating-rate senior notes and fixed-rate senior notes, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Mizuho Securities USA Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Goldman Sachs & Co., BofA Merrill Lynch and HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. are the joint bookrunners.

Both series of notes will be non-callable.

Proceeds from the notes will be used for general corporate purposes.

Mizuho is a Tokyo-based financial institution.
