Mid-America Apartments eyeing senior notes sale

Virginia Beach, Oct. 8 - Mid-America Apartments LP is set to sell an issue of senior notes, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Jefferies & Co., Wells Fargo Securities LLC and UBS Securities Inc. are the joint bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay borrowings under the company's revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes.

Mid-America is a Memphis-based real estate investment trust.
