Microsoft plans to price six-part offering of notes

Tupelo, Miss., Feb. 9 – Microsoft Corp. plans to bring to market a six-part offering of notes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Barclays and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. are joint bookrunners.

Co-managers are BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs & Co., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, RBS Securities Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The computer software company is based in Redmond, Wash.
