S&P: Mendes Junior Trading B+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned B+ global scale and brBBB national scale corporate credit ratings on Mendes Junior Trading e Engenharia SA.

The outlook is stable.

The rating is derived from a BB- anchor, which is based on the company's weak business risk profile and significant financial risk profile assessments, S&P said.

The company's liquidity is considered less than adequate and management and governance is considered fair, but these modifiers don't have an effect on the ratings, the agency said.

Despite its lower relative size, the agency said it believes that it has the expertise and quality standards to participate in high-profile projects.
