Moody's assigns Czech Republic, Slovakia national ratings
Moody's Investors Service said it assigned four new national scale ratings in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, including the Czech City of Trebic, which was assigned a long-term national scale issuer rating of Aa2.cz with a stable outlook; URS Praha as, which was assigned a long-term national scale issuer rating of Baa2.cz with a stable outlook; Lesy Ceske republiky sp, which was assigned a long-term national scale issuer rating of Aaa.cz with a stable outlook; and Matador as, which was assigned a long-term national scale issuer rating of A2.sk with a stable outlook.
The agency said it assigned the new ratings following the earlier introduction of a national rating scale in both countries and the initial publication of ratings on June 15.
The rating scale provides a ranking of relative creditworthiness (including relevant external support) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and uses Moody's globally recognized rating symbols, modified with a .cz marker and .sk marker, the agency said.
