Massachusetts scheduled to sell $1.2 billion in G.O. RANs Tuesday

New York, Sept. 14 - The Commonwealth of Massachusetts plans to sell $1.2 billion in series 2009A-C general obligation revenue anticipation notes on Tuesday, according to a notice of sale.

The deal includes $350 million in series 2009A notes, $425 million in series 2009B notes and $425 million in series 2009C notes.

The series 2009A notes are due April 29, 2010; the 2009B notes are due May 27, 2010; and the 2009C notes are due June 24, 2010.

The notes (MIG1/SP-1+/F1+) will be sold on a competitive basis.

Proceeds will be used to fund general capital expenditures ahead of the collection of certain revenues.
