Fitch affirms Marsh & McLennan

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Marsh & McLennan Cos., Inc.'s ratings as follows: senior debt at BBB, issuer default rating at BBB and short-term issuer default rating at F2.

The outlook is stable.

Fitch said its ratings for Marsh & McLennan reflect the company's favorable competitive position as one of the world's largest financial services firms, with major operations in insurance brokerage, consulting and risk consulting and technology.
