S&P gives BBB to Marriott notes

S&P said it assigned BBB issue-level ratings, the same as the long-term issuer credit rating, to Marriott International Inc.'s planned series NN senior unsecured notes and series OO senior unsecured notes. Marriott is expected to offer tranches due 2029 and 2034.

The ratings are the same as those on Marriott’s outstanding senior unsecured notes.

Marriott intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.

The outlook is stable.
