Manulife Financial plans to sell dollar-denominated seven-year notes

Knoxville, Tenn., May 14 – Manulife Financial Corp. intends to price dollar-denominated fixed-rate senior notes due 2027, according to a prospectus supplement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.

BofA Securities Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are the bookrunners.

The Toronto-based financial services group plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
