Moody’s assigns Humana notes Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa3 senior unsecured debt rating to Humana Inc.'s planned sale of about $750 million of senior unsecured debt due in March 2029.

The agency affirmed Humana’s Baa3 rating on April 28.

Humana will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include the repayment of indebtedness, including borrowings under the commercial paper program.

The outlook on Humana is unchanged at stable.
