Moody’s gives Honeywell notes A2

Moody's Investors Service said it gave A2 ratings to Honeywell International Inc.'s new senior unsecured notes.

“The issuances do not impact other ratings of Honeywell, including the existing A2 senior unsecured and P-1 short-term ratings,” Moody’s said in a press release.

Honeywell will use the proceeds to repay commercial paper, as well as for general corporate purposes. Honeywell had about $3.6 billion of commercial paper outstanding as of March 31.

The outlook is stable.
