Goldman plans notes with cap, 70% barrier tied to iShares MSCI EM

Chicago, April 13 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% notes due Oct. 26, 2020 tied to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the fund finishes at or above its 70% threshold level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of the contingent minimum return times $1,000 and any gain up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,420 for each $1,000 principal amount.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.

The notes will price on April 18 and settle on April 25.

The Cusip is 40055AXG7.
