Goldman Sachs plans buffered digital notes linked to MSCI EAFE

San Diego, Dec. 11 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% buffered digital index-linked notes tied to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are expected to mature 18 months after issue.

If the index return is zero or positive, the payout at maturity will be the maximum settlement amount, which is expected to be $1,175 to $1,205 and will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1.1111% for every 1% decline beyond the 10% buffer.

The Cusip is 38141GKV5.
