Deutsche Bank picks Michael Paasche as head of loan products

By Sara Rosenberg

New York, Feb. 24 - Deutsche Bank has named Michael Paasche as head of loan products, a new position within the Global Corporate Finance division that involves responsibility for loan sales and trading and joint management of the Senior Debt Capital Markets and Asset-Based Lending groups with Richard Byrne, head of capital markets, according to a company news release.

Paasche will also retain his current responsibilities as head of loan portfolio management, which he was appointed to in 2000, and continue to report to Thomas Gahan, head of corporate finance in the Americas. He is also a member of the Global Corporate Finance division's regional operating committee and the bank's underwriting committee.

"Mike's leadership and experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow our leading loan structuring, placement and trading capabilities," said Gahan in the release.
