Frontier Airlines posts $3.16 million June operating loss

Portland, Ore., July 29 - Frontier Airlines Holdings, Inc. reported a $3.16 million operating loss for June on $132.07 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
In comparison, the company posted a $16.47 million operating loss for May on $120.08 million in revenues.
The net loss for June was $8.84 million, compared with a net loss of $21.97 million in May.
The company reported cash and cash equivalents of $59.31 million at June 30, down from $110.06 million in cash and cash equivalents at May 31.
Frontier filed for bankruptcy on April 10 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-11298.
