Fleetwood Enterprises debtor gets OK for $1.35 million asset sale

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 5 - Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. debtor Fleetwood Homes of Georgia, Inc. was granted court approval for the $1.35 million sale of assets related to its two manufacturing plants in Alma, Ga., to Olin Wooten, according to an attorney close to the case.

As previously reported, the assets include 43.59 acres of land, with 237,061 square feet of manufacturing space, buildings and improvements, along with all machinery, equipment, tools and raw materials related to the plants.

Based in Riverside, Calif., Fleetwood produces, distributes and services recreational vehicles and manufactured housing. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 10, 2009. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-14254.
