FiberMark trustee disbands unsecured creditors committee

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, July 13 - FiberMark Inc.'s U.S. Trustee disbanded the company's official committee of unsecured creditors, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Vermont.

The original committee was appointed on April 7, 2004 and has been amended four times.

At the time it was disbanded, the committee included Thomas Musante of AIG Global Investment Group, Houston; James J. McGinley of Wilmington Trust Co., Wilmington, Del.; Kathy Choi of Post Advisory Group, LLC, Los Angeles and David L. Sawyer of Silver Point Capital, Greenwich, Conn.

No reason was given in the filing for the disbanding.

FiberMark, a Brattleboro, Vt., producer of specialty fiber-based materials, filed for bankruptcy on March 30, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-10463.
