Fenwick Automotive Products Chapter 7 bankruptcy case closed by court

Olympia, Wash., June 23 – Fenwick Automotive Products Ltd.’s Chapter 7 bankruptcy case was closed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, according to a final decree filed Wednesday.

As previously reported, Chapter 7 trustee George L. Miller said the bankruptcy case has been fully administered.

The trustee listed total claims paid of $33.02 million, including $25.96 million for secured claims, $5.71 million for Chapter 7 administrative fees and charges, $61,552 for priority unsecured claims and $1.28 million for general unsecured claims.

Miller has been discharged from his duties as trustee.

Fenwick is a subsidiary of Los Angeles-based Motorcar Parts of America, Inc., which provides remanufactured alternators and starters for the automotive aftermarket. The company filed for bankruptcy on June 10, 2013, and the Chapter 7 case number is 13-11500.
