Fannie Mae prepares to sell five-year Benchmark Notes

Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 27 - Fannie Mae announced an offering of five-year Benchmark Notes in a press release on Monday.
The notes will be due on April 27, 2017 and will settle on Thursday.
BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. are the bookrunners.
Co-managers are CastleOak Securities, LP, FTN Financial Capital Markets, UBS Securities LLC, and Williams Capital Group LP.
The government-backed home mortgage lender is based in Washington, D.C.
