Barclays calls iPath Short Enhanced MSCI Emerging Markets ETNs

Morgantown, W.Va., June 9 – Barclays Bank plc will automatically redeem its iPath Short Enhanced MSCI Emerging Markets index exchange-traded notes due Nov. 30, 2020 linked to the MSCI Emerging Markets Net Total Return index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The ETNs (Cusip: 06740P866, NYSE Arca: EMSA) will be redeemed in whole on June 15.

The redemption amount will be the value of the ETNs on June 8.

The automatic redemption was triggered, because the intraday indicative value of the notes fell to or below 45% of par.
