Credit Suisse plans leveraged buffered notes tied to MSCI EAFE index

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 9 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price 0% leveraged buffered notes linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are expected to mature between 16 and 18 months after pricing.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any gain in the index, capped at between $1,167.10 and $1,196.50 for each $1,000 face amount. The exact cap and maturity date will be set at pricing.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by 10% or less and will lose 1.1111% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the underwriter.
The Cusip number is 22551L3T5.
