Miller Energy seven-member committee of unsecured creditors appointed

Bethlehem, Pa., Oct. 19 – Miller Energy Resources, Inc.’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Friday by U.S. trustee Thomas Bufard, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Alaska.

The committee members are Dave Cruz of Cruz Construction, Inc. of Palmer, Alaska; Christopher J. Ryan of Baker Hughes Oilfield Operations, Inc. of Houston; Kent Lyon of Cudd Pressure Control, Inc. of The Woodlands, Texas; Kyle Kohman of Exxon Mobil Corp. of Anchorage; Mary Knox Dodge of Inlet Drilling Alaska, Inc. of Kenai, Alaska; Jason Leslie of National Oilwell Varco LP of Houston; and Linda Dutil of Schlumberger Technology Corp. of Denver.

Miller Energy is a Houston-based oil and natural gas production company focused on Alaska. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 1 under Chapter 11 case number 15-00236.
