MGM Resorts International files automatic shelf covering stock, debt

Knoxville, Tenn., March 15 - MGM Resorts International filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, debt securities, guarantees, warrants, units, rights to purchase common stock and securities purchase contracts.

The debt may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

MGM is a Las Vegas-based owner and operator of casino resorts.
