Canada’s Methanex selling senior notes due 2024, 2044

Virginia Beach, Nov. 12 – Methanex Corp. is pricing senior notes in tranches due 2024 and 2044, according to a SUPPL filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes have change-of-control put at 101%.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and RBC Capital Markets LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay debt, for capital expenditures and for working capital purposes.

The worldwide methanol supplier is based in Vancouver, B.C.
