Fitch rates Honeywell notes A

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A rating to Honeywell International Inc.'s planned sale of senior unsecured fixed-rate notes.

The rating is in line with those on Honeywell’s outstanding senior unsecured notes.

The proceeds will be available for general corporate purposes including funding the pending acquisition of Carrier's global access solutions business.

The outlook is stable.
