Home Interiors reports $10.94 million December net loss

Pittsburgh, Jan. 21 - Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. posted a $10.94 million net loss for the month ended Dec. 31 on $9.24 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

The figures showed a decline from the $4.86 million net loss reported for the month ended Nov. 22 on $15.3 million in revenues.

The company had $19.55 million in cash at Dec. 31, down from $23.69 million at Nov. 22.

Home Interiors & Gifts is a Dallas-based integrated manufacturer and distributor of home decorative accessories. The company filed for bankruptcy on April 29, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-31961.
