Home Interiors posts $6.76 million July net loss

Pittsburgh, Aug. 21 - Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. reported a $6.76 million net loss for July on $8.75 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

In comparison, the company posted a $7.86 million net loss for June on $15.96 million in revenues.

The company had $25.36 million in cash at July 31, down from $26.08 million at the end of June.

Home Interiors & Gifts is a Dallas-based integrated manufacturer and distributor of home decorative accessories. The company filed for bankruptcy on April 29. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-31961.
