Turkey’s GarantiBank may issue up to $6 billion of bonds

New York, Feb. 15 – The board of Turkey’s Garanti Bankasi AS has authorized the company to issue up to $6 billion of bonds, according to an announcement on Friday.

The bonds may be $6 billion equivalent in lira or any other currency, with different series and maturities and fixed- or floating-interest rates. No other details were immediately available.

The issuer is a lender based in Istanbul.
