Free Lance-Star get interim approval on continued cash collateral use

New York, June 20 – Free Lance-Star Publishing Co. obtained interim use of its cash collateral for the fifth time, according to a Friday order with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Under the interim order, the company can continue using cash collateral of its pre-bankruptcy lender through July 25 to fund its working capital needs and maintain the value of its business.

A final hearing has been rescheduled for July 24.

Free Lance-Star, a Fredericksburg, Va.-based publishing, newspaper, radio and communications company, filed bankruptcy on Jan. 23. The Chapter 11 case number is 14-30315.
