AMI to get $110 million term loan add-on for Flextronics semiconductor purchase

By Sara Rosenberg

New York, July 25 - AMI Semiconductor Inc. plans on getting a $110 million add-on to its existing term loan, according to a company news release.

Credit Suisse First Boston is the lead bank on the deal.

The add-on will be used in combination with cash on hand to fund the $135 million acquisition of Flextronics' semiconductor division.

In addition, the company will need to amend its existing credit agreement to allow for the acquisition.

AMI is a Pocatello, Idaho-based designer and manufacturer of application-specific integrated circuits.
