Federal-Mogul reports loss of $11.2 million in February

Houston, April 6 - Federal-Mogul Corp. reported a loss of $11.2 million in February on sales of $272.4 million, according to its monthly report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Its earnings before income taxes and cumulative effect of change in accounting principle was a loss of $11.1 million

Cash at the end of the month was $431.4 million.

Federal-Mogul, a Southfield, Mich.-based autoparts manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 1, 2001. Its Chapter 11 case number is 01-10578.
